Over 27 years ago, after 10 years of veterinary practice, Dr. Laszlo Sichtnik opened the Animal Hospital of Morris Park. He had a dream of opening an animal hospital that would be international, continuously progressive, and a place where veterinarians could work independently and collaboratively to enhance themselves in their field.
Dr. Sichtnik implements innovative, unique, and efficient technologies into his treatment methods. His academic credentials include the formulation and development of singular medical treatments for dogs and cats with ear infections. 35 years of veterinary practice has given him a clear vision of the hospital's development as well as taking the mentoring program for inexperienced doctors to the next level.
Today we have an international team of veterinarians spanning from Egypt to Chile. We are a small animal hospital (specializing in cats and dogs) located in the Heart of Morris Park, New York. Our company has proven to the community that even the most hopeless cases can be successfully resolved. We have saved many animals' lives in situations where other clinics refused to treat them. We are proud to be a successful Emergency Hospital.
AHMP is always open to new ideas which has led to significant improvements in our animal healthcare practices. Our veterinarians choose what continuous education they need, what equipment should be implemented into our practice, and always have a voice in the hospital's evolution.
AHMP provides a wide variety of services from routine Wellness-care to all types of Specialty Surgeries. We also specialize in therapies that are not available in other practices such as: Prolozone Therapy, Biocom Therapy, and Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy.
